Well finally we have a sane policy from Washington/DEA! For years the bush administration had wasted funds on trying to close down Medical Marijuana, in states where the State's approved it, usually by referendum by the people of the State. We need to get over this insane idea that pot is as bad as hard drugs, or that it is a 'gateway' drug. It is neither. We should legalize pot and control/tax it just as we do alcohol. The change in economics would be immense. Instead of spending useless millions (or billions?) of dollars in the drug war on pot, criminal trials for pot and incarceration for pot, we could be taxing and growing pot.
It is just insane to think we still are stuck in the old mentality of Pot being some horrible bogeyman.
